We are excited to offer our summer Student Internship Program for students in-person in 2023! Participating students will have the option to apply for a two-week in-person placement. Internships will provide highly motivated high school seniors hands-on opportunities in their desired field. Internships are designed to provide valuable work experience for students as they explore career options.

- Student should be a current 11th grader in Montgomery County, Texas
- Student should be in good academic standing
- Student should submit all application materials and non-refundable $20 application fee as instructed by April 10, 2023.

4. An unofficial school transcript- EfTA will get this from your school
5. A recommendation from a teacher/adult non-family member familiar with the applicant’s work. The teacher recommendation link can be found above or on the application.
6. A one to two page, double-spaced typed essay
7. $20 non-refundable application fee (due when you submit your application)
8. Volunteer for a 4-hour EfTA stations at the IRONMAN Texas on April 22, 2023. You MUST volunteer at one of the following stations: Timing, Run Special Needs, or Bag Drop Friday.

IRONMAN Volunteer Sign Up
All applicants are required to complete a four-hour volunteer shift at the IRONMAN Texas on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Applicants must volunteer for one four-hour shift in one of the following stations; Timing, Run Special Needs, or Bag Drop Friday. Volunteers hours from other stations will not be acceptable. If you are unable to attend the IRONMAN you must reach out to Corinne Coulter by April 20 in order to receive your makeup assignment. Please note, if you do not see a station listed, all time slots for that station have been filled.

2. Complete an online interest inventory assessment with a one-page reflection based on your results (link will be provided once accepted)
3. Attend one of the required online interview workshops (May 30, May 31 and June 1)
4. Complete your entire in-person internship
6. Submit a one-page reflection essay about your overall program experience (questions to answer will be provided)
