306: Industry: Video Production
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Entertainment and business live under the same roof. We build TV shows and launch real companies at the same time. This isn’t your average internship. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and full of real responsibility. Last year’s interns loved the experience, and this year is going to be even better. We’ve got two main tracks but here’s the deal, Can’t decide? You can switch tracks. Want both? Totally fine. If you already know what you want to focus on like editing, post-production, or brand design we’ll let you run with it. If you want to explore a little bit of everything that works too.
Track 1: Production Studio (Content Creators and Visual Storytellers) Work behind the scenes of two original shows. You'll be shooting, editing, directing, and experimenting with professional gear like Sony A74 cameras, ATEM switchers, and Tascam Mixcast. You’ll also explore how AI and automation are changing the way content gets made. If you're into storytelling, tech, or creating content that actually goes live, this is where you want to be.
Track 2: Business Studio (Strategists and Builders) This track is more like an incubator. You’ll help build out every part of the businesses we launch including: websites, logos and branding, customer profiles, marketing plans, product testing, sponsor outreach, usability testing, audience growth and analytics. You’ll rotate through small focused teams every couple of days just like departments in a startup. It’s a fast-moving creative environment built for people who want to get their hands dirty and see how real businesses are launched from scratch.
Throughout the internship, you’ll be using pro-level tools and platforms across both tracks. That includes cameras, audio gear editing software websites and AI-powered systems. Never used this stuff before? No problem. You’ll get a crash course and learn as you go. What matters most is your mindset. We trust you to make decisions and we trust you to make mistakes. That’s how real learning happens. Just come ready to improve every day. You’ll build confidence in how you communicate with people and machines and walk away with experience most students don’t get until college or beyond. Required Checks and Procedures: Parental Consent: Due to the age of the participants, all interns must provide parental consent to participate in the internship program. Confidentiality Agreements: Interns will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect the proprietary information and privacy of our clients and projects. Safety Protocols: For the safety of all staff and interns, our studio is under 24-hour surveillance. This measure is part of our commitment to maintaining a secure working environment. Additionally, interns will be briefed on all safety protocols relevant to their tasks and the studio environment on their first day. These procedures are in place to ensure a safe, secure, and productive experience for every intern. We believe these measures support our commitment to providing a professional and educational environment.
