35th Anniversary Micro Grant Application
Purpose:
The Education for Tomorrow Alliance 35th Anniversary Micro Grants program is designed to provide innovative resources to support teacher and student education in Montgomery County, Texas. EfTA has been providing career, leadership and STEM programs to students in Montgomery County, Texas for 35 years and to celebrate we are looking for educators to apply for micro-grants to help with the planning and execution of classroom projects or subject based field trips.
Grant Eligibility:
Individuals or teams of educators from local public or private schools in Montgomery County, Texas may apply for a grant from Education for Tomorrow Alliance.
Awards of Funds:
With a history of providing career, leadership and STEM programs to students, EfTA is looking to encourage local educators to apply for micro-grants up to $500 (averaging $350 each) to help support individual educator-initiated programs, projects, or field trips that focus on Career, Leadership, or STEM-related subjects. The application is open and funds will be awarded on a rolling basis from October 2024 through March 2025.

Selection Process and Timeline:

- The grant selection committee will meet to review and evaluate all applications on or around the 15th of each month.
- Grant recipients will generally be notified the first week of the following month. The grant committee may contact the teacher/grant writer for clarification of the grant request.
- Be specific as possible when completing the budget portion of the application.
- Include shipping costs
- The total cost on the budget page needs to equal the amount of funding requested on grant application.
- Educators are encouraged to apply at least one month prior to the target date of the program, project, or field trip.
