DISTINGUISHED Speaker Series: Leaders
Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, EfTA will be holding free virtual speaking events each month highlighting distinguished professionals from various industries and careers. High school students will have the opportunity to learn about where these professionals have come from, where they are headed and what they have learned.
These sessions will be run via Zoom one Thursday evening every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Registration is required in order to attend. Please note that registration closes at 5:00 pm on the day of the session.
Fall Schedule:
September 12th: Dr. David Agler, Chief Medical Director at First Choice Health Network
October 17th: James Ouellette, Lieutenant Colonel, Retired United States Airforce, Owner of Ouellette Management LLC and Captain at United Airlines
November 7th: Dr. Ritu Parikh, Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency at Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital
December 5th: Robert Lane, Marketing Coordinator for the Houston Rockets
Spring Schedule:
January 30th: Cindy Egan, Vice President of the National Space Systems for Northrop Grumman Space Systems
February 20th: Frank Holmes, Former Vice President for University Advancement at Sam Houston State University (Retired)
March 27th: Bev Mentzer, Industrial Career Counselor at Purdue University School of Chemical Engineering and Former Vice President of Research Qatar at at ExxonMobil (Retired)
April 10: TBA
