Student Internship Program Luncheon

EfTA's annual Student Internship Program luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 11:30 am at the Lone Star Community Building to celebrate intern program participants and the professionals who have hosted them throughout the summer. Ray Sanders, Regional President, Business Banking at Woodforest National Bank will serve as the event's keynote speaker.

2016 SCI://TECH Exposition

Education for Tomorrow Alliance's (EfTA) 27th Annual SCI://TECH Exposition is scheduled for January and February 2017.  EfTA’s SCI://TECH engages the business community with local schools, offering 13 science, technology, engineering, and math competitions and events.  Run by EfTA volunteers and local educators, the SCI://TECH Exposition includes one of the largest regional science fairs in the nation reaching thousands of students each year and qualifying students to compete in the Houston Science & Engineering Fair, as well as state and international competitions.  

SCI://TECH spans four weekends in January and February, and includes more than 5,000 students vying in grade-level competitions and events with the support of nearly 600 volunteers.  All 2017 dates are tentative.

    25th Anniversary Silver Celebration

    In March 2015, Education for Tomorrow Alliance volunteers from the past and present came out to celebrate 25 years of creating business-education partnerships in Montgomery County. It was an opportunity to celebrate our amazing supporters who have brought the organization's vision to life throughout our history.    

    Several special supporters were recognized for their outstanding support. Community Partner awards were given to Conroe ISD, The John Cooper School, Lone Star College - Montgomery, and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce.  Committed Volunteers recognized included Forstine Morris, Dr. Ron Laugen, Paul Lutes, and GJ Snyder.  Legacy awards were given to Entergy and to Dr. David Norton for their long-time, dedicated support of EfTA.
