The intern will have opportunities to write press releases, assist with event planning, and help prepare marketing and presentation materials for district publicity and events. Parent permission will be requested so interns can ride with members of the Communications team in to work events that do not take place at the Administration Building.

We are dedicated to innovation, integrating tools like AI and automation to enhance our video production processes. This approach not only increases efficiency but also ensures that we stay at the forefront of industry advancements. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to experience the full spectrum of video production at a real studio, from start to finish, with the cameras rolling every single day. Responsibilities: Sales and Pre-production: Assist in preparing pitches and initial client consultations, using AI-driven data analysis to inform decisions. Production: Participate in daily filming activities, learning about both traditional techniques and enhanced procedures that assist in camera automation and scene composition. Use SonyA74s, ATEM switcher, Mixcast, and all the software that comes with it. Post-Production: Use advanced software, including AI tools, to edit footage, optimize sound, and enhance visual effects, seeing firsthand how automation speeds up and refines the editing process. Distribution: Engage with our distribution team to analyze how AI helps tailor content delivery to diverse platforms and audiences, ensuring maximum reach and impact. This internship is not just about observing; you'll be actively involved in all operations, providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Through daily practical experience, you will learn how every part of our business works together to create compelling video content. Additionally, you will participate in q&a sessions giving you insights into the intersection of technology and creativity in media production. Required Checks and Procedures: Parental Consent: Due to the age of the participants, all interns must provide parental consent to participate in the internship program. The intern will be working with the Economic Development Department and Community Programming- this includes but is not limited to business relations, business retention, and business recruitment; parks and recreation tasks such as park design, development, and maintenance; community programming such as special events, marketing, and social media; We are also going to try to allow for some time for students to shadow other departments such as Public Works, Code enforcement, Municipal Court, and Police. Will also have the opportunity to attend city board and commission meetings to include: City Council, Community Affairs Committee, Planning and Zoning, and Economic Development Corporation meeting.

Areas of internship focus are gaining professional growth and work experience, including technical skills, communication skills, social service program evaluation and management, and having an opportunity to gain first-hand experience by job shadowing client assistance appointments or services. Intern will need a Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or legal guardian. Required work dates: Session 2, June 10 - 21.

He/she will have the opportunity to work with the organization's new CRM database, Bloomerange to help set up templates for newsletters, marketing, letter campaigns for various events as well as have an introduction into Quickbooks for the organization. The intern needs to have strong communication skills, writing skills, creativity and basic knowledge of Canva. He/she will be required to complete a confidentiality agreement.

The intern will be able to create a volunteer handbook and volunteer job descriptions under the supervision of the Director of Development (I have old materials from past projects that they can work from). Create social media calendar for marketing to include holidays, special events in the community, and awareness days/campaigns that align with the mission and vision of Mosaics. Create promotional materials for Mosaics events. Create social media videos based on important topics surrounding mental health. Participate in one Mosaics heart workshop to create hearts for upcoming engagement opportunities. Design Mosaics themed cards (birthday, thank you, anniversary,etc.) Requirements: Due to the nature of our work, students and parents would need to sign our HIPAA agreement and confidentiality policy. If a student needs a flexible schedule due to transportation and other commitments, we have the ability to extend the 80 hr requirement across more than 2 weeks if permitted. Open to students working any session except for session 4 and 5.
