Private School Science Fair Judges’ Confirmation for Friday, January 26 at Lone Star College – Montgomery
Thank you for volunteering for the Private School Science Fair! We are truly grateful for your gift of time! Here are a few reminders. Please note, judges are welcome to register on-site.

Parking: Please enter the campus through Entrance #3 / West Campus Drive off of Highway 242/College Park Drive and park in the West Parking Lot. Judges' check-in will be in Building A, the Commons Building. Click for map link (Scroll down the page on the link for the campus map with building information.) For those coming with student participants, note that student check-in and judging will take place in the atrium of Building B.
Event Schedule:
Registration Begins: 5:00 pm – Building A, Commons
Judges’ Training: 5:15 pm, Building A, Commons. Thanks to Brothers Pizza Express - Sterling Ridge for providing volunteers a pasta dinner!
Project Judging: 6:00 pm - until completed, Health & Science Building B, Atrium
Dress: The dress is business casual. You are welcome to wear a shirt representing your company/organization.
After the training is complete, judges will each receive their list of student projects to judge and will begin to meet with students. Upon completion, judges will reassemble by category to collectively rank-order the student projects and determine winners. As a reminder, you do not have to be an expert in any scientific field to be a great judge. Additional details on how to approach judging will be offered during the training, but you are welcome to read the Science Fair Judging Tips worksheet in advance.
