The Education for Tomorrow Alliance team is excited to host the annual Youth Leadership Academy for high school sophomores and juniors in Montgomery County, Texas. During the three-and-a-half days of training, students will have the opportunity to meet community leaders, develop new skills, explore their strengths, plan for the future, and interact with other students.
More details about session days and times will become available in March of 2026.
Introduce students to community leaders
Help students develop the skills and tools to face everyday challenges
Develop and strengthen personal and professional skills
Learn about and give back to their community
Support each other to become more effective leaders
To be eligible, a student must demonstrate interest and must meet the following criteria:
Be a high school sophomore or junior in the Fall of 2026
Attend school or live in Montgomery County, Texas. If you have questions about your eligibility please reach out to EfTA.
Be in good academic standing
Be able to attend each session
Submit a complete application and the $125 program fee. (Need-based scholarships are available. Please speak with your school's College and Career Counselor for more information.)
Applications include short answers, an uploaded essay, and a teacher recommendation letter. Spots are limited. Education for Tomorrow Alliance will start a waitlist once capacity has been reached.
